Volker Seifert教授的主要臨床領(lǐng)域為血管神經(jīng)外科,實驗研究主要集中在蛛網(wǎng)膜下腔出血后腦血管痙攣的起源。1990年,他獲得了德國神經(jīng)學(xué)學(xué)會學(xué)術(shù)研究獎,以表彰他在神經(jīng)血管領(lǐng)域的突出貢獻(xiàn)。
